Closing shop!
The time has come, my friends! I have come to the realization that I just really love scrapping more than I love designing! So, as of April 8, my shop at Bouquet of Pixels will be closed. However, if you want to grab any of my kits before they are gone, they are on sale for only $1 each!

Here's an older kit from Creations by Rachael that I worked with this week. I adore the colors and the realistic but whimsical elements.

New from Creations by Rachael
I've known Rachael for over a year, ever since we were both designers at a store together. Well, my focus has shifted and I've decided that I prefer to scrap my own photos rather than design. In the meantime, Creations by Rachael has become a better and better quality name!!! Look at this gorgeousness! This is brand new out this week!
Remember the sneak peek I showed you last week? Here is the unveil!

DST
I've been reading all these complaints about DST in the past few days...
First off, let me remind you that I am an American who is living in Germany. And second, I'm a digiscrapper. An obsessive digiscrapper. So, from that framework, I interpret DST as the website Digishop Talk. So imagine my surprise when I see all the buzz on Facebook from gals I didn't know scrapped who started posting things like "DST bites" or "Thanks, DST, for making my Monday even better..." and then a bunch of GUY friends posted stuff like "I hate DST".
Huh???
Now I know Digishop Talk has had some issues with its gallery in the past few months, but really? I wondered how the word had spread to the point that it had any type of impact on the non-scrappers and their husbands.
Well, now that it is TUESDAY, a lighbulb suddenly went off as I was reading my sister's blog. I finally realized that the DST that all these people were referring to is Daylight Savings Time.
When you are done laughing (or shaking your head) at my idiocy, just be aware that I am usually pretty good at understanding what people say - in context. However, since DST (the time change) does not take place in Europe until the last weekend of March, that usual context was lost on me.
Just thought I'd share. :)

News
Something exciting is going on in scrapland! :) I've got a few new projects brewing that I can't wait to unveil. One of them, I will tell you in just a second, but the other I will fill you in on later this month.
Here's a hint for the first one...
OK, OK, I'll just tell you. :) I'm a guest creative team member for Creations by Rachael for this month! Very cool and I'm so excited about it. She is a talented designer. There is a new kit coming out on Friday, so be sure to check it out! Will post more as the day nears.
Michelle Underwood also released a kit at 2Peas! Isn't it cute??? I think most of us are just begging for spring to come already...

Scrapping some photos of my oldest kiddo!
I dug some photos from a few years ago out of my EHD. I had fun with a few products this week!
And an older kit, which I adore, Oh So Happy:
What Were You Thinking? is new from Amy Sumrall this week:

Sometimes I like to scrap not-so-happy photos, just because it captures a different aspect of my kids' personalities!
This is a kit that caught my eye, waaaay before I was accepted into Pamela Donnis' CT. Isn't it sweet??? Totally my style.

All my stuff at BOP is $1 - Valentine's Day special!
Like the title says, all of my kits at Bouquet of Pixels are only $1 on Valentines Day only! That includes this one:
It's Dollar Day, so stop by and sort through the "bin" to see what treasures might be hiding there!
New from Amy Sumrall and some other new pages
Wow, this girl is on fire! She has been designing up a storm over at Scrap Orchard and the-Lilypad.
I found it to be fantastically suited for baby layouts! :)
This week, I also did a 2-pager using this kit by Pamela Donnis and Jacque Larsen:
And some templates from Pamela too.
I'll leave you with one more layout. I hardly ever scrap photos of just me. I don't know, perhaps it seems a bit vain to scrap myself, but I want my kids and other family members to remember more about me than I sat at the computer a lot! LOL...
Amy released two kits at Scrap Orchard. First, here is Love Me Do:
Next, You Da Man, a collab with MLE Card. This one is going into my favorites vault! I adore the alpha in this one!!!
Back at the-Lilypad, Amy's new kit is A Little Bit Softer Now:

Beautiful Ending by Michelle Underwood
Michelle Underwood has a new kit out at Two Peas in a Bucket called Beautiful Ending.
And coordinating solids:Isn't it sweet! Right off the bat, I adored the pretty flowers Michelle included in the kit. It reminded me of the lilacs that I wanted at our wedding. That didn't work out so well, since our wedding got moved up drastically after Sept. 11. But we still had a nice wedding. :)
Here are the layouts I created using this kit:
Thanks for looking. I hope this brings some small feeling of spring to all of you that are snowed in! (That includes me!)
