Scrapping some photos of my oldest kiddo!

I dug some photos from a few years ago out of my EHD. I had fun with a few products this week!

What Were You Thinking? is new from Amy Sumrall this week:

And an older kit, which I adore, Oh So Happy:

Sometimes I like to scrap not-so-happy photos, just because it captures a different aspect of my kids' personalities!

This is a kit that caught my eye, waaaay before I was accepted into Pamela Donnis' CT. Isn't it sweet??? Totally my style.

I had to make sure the layout was not too girly. I think it turned out ok! :)

All my stuff at BOP is $1 - Valentine's Day special!

Like the title says, all of my kits at Bouquet of Pixels are only $1 on Valentines Day only! That includes this one:

It's Dollar Day, so stop by and sort through the "bin" to see what treasures might be hiding there!

New from Amy Sumrall and some other new pages

Wow, this girl is on fire! She has been designing up a storm over at Scrap Orchard and the-Lilypad.

Amy released two kits at Scrap Orchard. First, here is Love Me Do:
Next, You Da Man, a collab with MLE Card. This one is going into my favorites vault! I adore the alpha in this one!!!

Back at the-Lilypad, Amy's new kit is A Little Bit Softer Now:

I found it to be fantastically suited for baby layouts! :)

This week, I also did a 2-pager using this kit by Pamela Donnis and Jacque Larsen:

And some templates from Pamela too.

I pulled out one of Amy Sumrall's newer alpha's too.
Put them all together and here is what I got!

I'll leave you with one more layout. I hardly ever scrap photos of just me. I don't know, perhaps it seems a bit vain to scrap myself, but I want my kids and other family members to remember more about me than I sat at the computer a lot! LOL...

So here's a kit I used by Michelle Underwood.
And the cutest alpha I've ever seen!!!And some cute messy stitches from Pamela Donnis.

Here's my "masterpiece".

Beautiful Ending by Michelle Underwood

Michelle Underwood has a new kit out at Two Peas in a Bucket called Beautiful Ending.
And coordinating solids:
Isn't it sweet! Right off the bat, I adored the pretty flowers Michelle included in the kit. It reminded me of the lilacs that I wanted at our wedding. That didn't work out so well, since our wedding got moved up drastically after Sept. 11. But we still had a nice wedding. :)
Here are the layouts I created using this kit:

Thanks for looking. I hope this brings some small feeling of spring to all of you that are snowed in! (That includes me!)

Two Page Layouts

Have you ever created a 2-page layout? I've wanted to do a 2-pager for quite awhile, but just never tried. I used to make matching, coordinated 2-page layouts all the time when I scrapped with paper, but for some reason, I just haven't done so with my digital layouts.

In December, snow fell here, and our family went out and had a blast in the snow. I'm a ND girl originally, and my love of snow will never die! :) Anyway, we ended up getting some really great photos, and I decided THIS was the time. I was going to create a 2-page layout! :)

If you've ever wondered how to do it, this is what to do. Open a blank file, and set the size to 24 inches wide and 12 inches tall. (7200x3600) Create your layout. This is how mine turned out.

When you are finished, and happy with your project, set the crop tool to 12 inches x 12 inches and cut each page out.

So, here's my page 1:
And page 2:

Easy! Right? To make my page even easier, I used a 2 page template by Mandagirl. She has quite a few nice, free templates!

I used the Winter Romance kit by Michelle Underwood for my pages. It totally fit the photos and I'm happy with how the layouts came out!

Out today: Peaches for Me at Scrap Orchard, where she is guest designer this month!
Super cute. This kit just screamed of my sister Anna. I found a photo from a few years ago to scrap.

And an older kit, that I fell in love with.

I put them together, and here's what I got. My first no-photo layout. I think it turned out pretty good for no photos. What do you think?
